| Rytful Adventures set out a couple of years ago to create Alaska's dream vacation resort. Create a beautiful lodge with a warm family atmosphere, while providing fully guided adventures suitable for all interests and activity levels. And that is just what we did.
It has been our mission to show each guest as much of this region and what it has to offer. And do this in a highly professional and customized way not found anywhere else in this fine state and very few places on the planet.
Cruise ships pass through this region of Alaska with their big promises of adventure and wildlife. For just a couple of hours each day they try to provide some fun near each port. We place you right in the heart of the wilderness, far from the big ships, taxis and shoppers. We venture out into the wild and guide you into a custom trip to be remembered forever. Forget about the over priced and under sized staterooms. Instead you will enjoy a large, comfortable room or suite. Your group will dine with just a few, not a few hundred.

The Lodge at Whale Pass is located in the heart of the famed Inside Passage area of Southeast Alaska. The lodge sits by the shore of a quiet bay off Whales Passage on the NE corner of Prince of Wales, Island. The third largest island in the U.S. and just one of many remote islands that are within the huge Tongas National Forest. This large temperate rainforest still contains huge tracts of old growth timber drained by jeweled creeks and river.
From this remote spot our guests have access to a diverse island landscape and abundant wildlife surrounded by even more islands. We will immerse you in one of the most spectacular settings on the planet. All within a couple of hours from Seattle, WA.
Reaching this great escape is very easy. Travel from your home town to Seattle (SEA) and your choice of major airlines, then transfer to one of many non-stops flights on Alaska Airlines to Ketchikan (KTN). From there the adventure begins. We put you on a float plane for a scenic flight up the Inside Passage, up the coast of Prince of Wales Island, right to our dock in Whale Pass, Alaska.
